Welcome to our Reception class, where children begin their exciting journey through school in a nurturing, stimulating, and inspiring environment. Our Reception provision provides the foundations for lifelong learning, helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love of discovery.
Learning Through Play and Exploration
The Reception year follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, where children learn through a balance of adult-led activities and child-initiated play. Our carefully planned environment encourages children to explore, investigate, create, and develop their understanding of the world around them.

Our Outdoor Learning Environment
We recognise the importance of outdoor learning in supporting children’s physical development, wellbeing, and curiosity. Children have daily access to a well-resourced outdoor area where they can explore, investigate, collaborate, and develop key skills through active play.
