Lumiere Litre of Light
Class 4 were invited to take part in the ‘Litre of Light’ project for Durham’s Lumiere Festival 2015. Local artist Mick Stephenson has been commissioned to build an installation for Durham Cathedral Cloisters. It will be a rose window made up of 2 litre bottles. We have completed ours and they will be added to the display.

Visit to Locomotion, Shildon
We had a great day at Locomotion! The children learned about how trains have changed over the last 150 years. We also focused on our famous inventor, George Stephenson, and we even got to see how to drive a steam train.
Visit to the Salvation Army
We visited the Salvation Army in the village to learn about what they do and to try out a few of their instruments. We made some great noises!
