For any parents who have a library card for themselves or their children, the library has many resources online that you can access while they are closed. They have access to Encyclopaedia Britannica, eBooks, eAudiobooks and also eMagazines. Resources can be accessed using the link below:

Library Online

If you are not members of the library, you can also join the library online using the link. The library also have activities on their Facebook page, which is @DurhamLibraries on Facebook. There are craft activities and weekly online jigsaws, and they are hoping to add more activities soon!

 

Whitworth Park Art Competition

Please see below, a poster showing information about an art competition being held by Whitworth Park Academy.

Parents can send (or we can on their behalf) their child’s entry to the Year 7 Leader at: r.pearson@whitworthpark.org.uk

Entries need to be submitted by 1st March 2021. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for children entering from primary schools. Mrs Pearson wishes all of the children good luck, and she can’t wait to see their entries.
