In DT, Class 6 were given the task of researching, planning, creating and evaluating a recipe. The children had to use rationed ingredients (linked to their WWI history topic) to create vegetable turn overs. These were a huge hit with some of the children.

In science, Class 6 have been learning about the circulatory system. During this lesson, the children explored a lamb heart and had the opportunity to hold one, if they wished. From this, they then used equipment to make their own model heart.
