Time to Talk Day

January 31, 2022 by admin

On Thursday 3rd February our school will join in the national ‘Time to Talk Day’. The day is about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health. We all have mental health. By talking about it, we can support ourselves and others. For further information, please click the link below:

Our Vision Statement

January 31, 2022 by admin

The emotional health and wellbeing of all members of West Cornforth Primary School is fundamental to our philosophy and ethos of valuing everyone, caring for each other and achieving excellence.

We have embedded wellbeing into every aspect of our school and we will continue to do so.

Our vision is to continue to promote and develop the mental health and resilience of our staff, children, parents and carers, linking to Article 24- ‘Every child has the right to the best possible health’.

Take a look at our future posts to see what we are doing in school to promote mental health and emotional wellbeing.
