In Class 6, we have been reading ‘The Arrival’ by Shaun Tan. This is a unique book that has no words. The children all had to make their own inferences based on visual clues. The class particularly enjoyed watching the animation version and therefore, were tasked with making their own. Firstly, they had to take images, using a green screen, then edit their images, add these to iMovie, then add relevant sound effects. Their final results are impressive!

After recapping the Easter story, Class 6 were tasked with creating a piece of music to represent Christian beliefs behind Good Friday and Easter Sunday. They began their piece of music, made on Garage Band, representing death, loss and isolation. Then, they were tasked with showing a transition of life, love, togetherness and hope.
