Over the past couple of weeks, children that have been in school have taken part in a range of creative activities. We would like to share some of their experiences below:
Pupils in school were using observation, measurement and division to estimate the height and age of the trees on our grounds. They predicted that our tallest tree is approximately 14m 30cm and around 175.5 years old – isn’t that amazing!
The children in school have been creating symmetrical butterflies. They used their mathematical skills, as well as some creativity, to create these beautiful butterflies.
The children designed ‘wish bottles’. As these times are challenging for us all, we thought it would be nice to get the children to think about what they’d like to do when we are able to resume certain aspects of social life!
Children have created beautiful lava lamps with lots of bright colours! They certainly enjoyed watching their creations, you can watch the video below to share their experience:
