I have been a Parent Governor at West Cornforth Primary since the end of 2019 – just before the pandemic hit! I’m a Mam to two children, one of which attends the school and I’m hoping that my youngest will gain a place as soon as the time is right too.
I’ve lived in West Cornforth my whole life and I feel I’m a familiar face for parents to approach should the need arise. When the opportunity to become Parent Governor came up I thought I’d give something back to not only my son’s school but my own childhood primary school too.
I have working experience within early years education and I enjoy working with the school staff and governors to support the school to achieve its very best for all of our children.
