I have an honors degree in history and sociology having attended Sunderland University, as well as being a retired electrical engineer. I have also previously worked as a manger and consultant for Citizens Advice. I believe that my work experience and academic skills have provided me with abilities that will enhance the working of the school’s governing body.
I joined the board of West Cornforth Primary School in April 2016 and have enjoyed chairing the board and seeing the school become an outstanding establishment. It is my privilege to be working with governors and staff who promote the school and ensure that the children attending, receive the best education and attention they deserve.
